WikiLink - The Mediawiki Interface - Knot Atlas
WikiLink is actually two separate things; firstly, a java class for interfacing with a mediawiki server, and secondly, a Mathematica package providing a wrapper around this.
WikiLink is available as a standalone package, suitable for use with any Mediawiki installation, and is included in the KnotTheory` package.
WikiLink has been tested against mediawiki 1.4.5beta3 and 1.4.7.

WikiLinks provide easy linking between pages of the wiki.
WikiLinks can be entered in any case you like, the page they link to is always lowercased.
Note that if the file linked to by a WikiLink looks like an image, it will be displayed inline on the page.

I needed Markdown to be extended to support wikilinks.
The problem was that the wikilink code had no way of knowing to skip over various parts of the Markdown syntax.
There would need to be a way to escape WikiLinks if you want to avoid them getting wikified inside links.

WikiLinks are words with inline capitals (what we call CamelCase).
A WikiLink forms a link to another page in the Wiki (or maybe elsewhere).
Then just click on your new WikiLink to get to the page editor and create your new page.

WikiPluralProblem - The Official Kwiki Web Site   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31)
For example, I can have one WikiLink or two WikiLinks and they point to different pages.
And, if the WikiWord happens to be a verb, there are similar tense AKAs such as WikiLink as WikiLinked, WikiLink as WikiLinking and the like.
A fast kludgy hack might be to use WikiLink's, but then it's potentially very confusing to readers and we create a "wiki possessive problem" instead.

#614 (Add wiki tag to force WikiLink) - The Trac Project - Trac
There are many times when you want to be able to create a wikilink and not use camel case.
I would like to create a wiki page with the name TroubleShootingFAQ but this is not possible.
So it would be nice if there would be a tag to specify that it is a WikiLink.
