 | | If you force accounts, then range blocking (http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Range_blocks) becomes a useless feature as sysops won't know the IP of the person spamming, so wouldn't be able to range block it. |
 | | I'm all for open communications and free speech, believe me, but requiring accounts is not blocking anyone from anything, and ironically, relying on sysops to continually revert things can often be undemocratic. |
