However, the revision history is kept for some time and can be retrieved by a sysop, who can also undelete the page.
As noted at the end of each history revision, in the text at MediaWiki:history copyright, the page histories may contain material that is subject to copyright limitations.
While we attempt to remove such material from the current version (see copyright problems) it is kept in the history for research and author attribution purposes.

Policy violations (was [WikiEN-l] Re: Violation of blocking policy by user "40277")
If the justification is presented in the Talk page, it's sufficient to write "See talk" in the edit summary box." ----- All of these were violated by Texture, Oberiko, and Jiang when they deleted my addition.
Articles should be written from a neutral point of view, representing differing views on a subject fairly and sympathetically." Texture and Oberiko were not fair or sympathetic toward my view, and enforced their own POV my removing my edit that had reduced the POV-ness (as others besides me have pointed out).

Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer.
I see you've challenged this argument elsewhere, but I disagree that non-conventional spelling should be used for any reason, including that of being used by some experts.

In the arabic wikipedia with Mozilla it's terribly difficult to do this: you first have to type the closing brackets, then the word and the opening brackets (at the moment I type in a text editor first and then copy text over in the edit box).

I wanted to demonstrate to a couple of Yahoo Health Groups (DBS Surgery and Essential Tremor)that the progress of medical research is so fast that often the public is informed when the next person bothers to do a little bit of editing.
I found the article on Deep Brain Stimulation, read a couple of paragraphs and then did some minor editing, e.g., changing "some" to "many" and then added a bit that was common knowledge in these groups but not elsewhere.
I like that, "I could edit it, but..." which means you didn't edit it, so you really have NO way of knowing.
