Richard William (Wil) Wheaton III (born July 29, 1972 in Burbank, California) is a writer and father as well as a former child actor.
Wheaton sold out three printings in four months, and in the winter of 2003, the book's success caught the eye of publisher Tim O'Reilly, who signed Wheaton to a three book contract.
Wil had a monthly column entitled "Wil Save" in the Dungeons and Dragons based magazine Dungeon, where he related anecdotal tales of his life in relation to the famous fantasy RPG.

I've been aware of Wil Wheaton Dot Net for a while but have resisted reading it because it whenever I saw it mentioned on other blogs it was not in a good light.
Wil is an articulate writer who appears to write as he feels, without too many heirs and graces.
Wil Wheaton is not the man that I imagined him to be.

Well, I've stirred up some epic database problems which are going to involve technical support, and a whole lot of time I just don't have right now.
What I realize I have to do is download the entire website, delete about 3/5 of everything that has become useless outdated crap that's sitting around like plaque in the arteries of WWdN, and rebuild from the ground up.
It's not an advice or HOWTO book (or a Star Trek book, or a celebrity bio), but other stepparents may find a kindred spirit between the covers, and all you WWdN readers who have wanted more family stories will probably like it, too.
