		Records indicate the funds will be used to finance installation of a new water pump and construction of approximately two and one-half miles of flexible but durable 6-inch diameter pipeline between Wilburton's water treatment plant and the "old city lake" northeast of town fed by Fourche Maline and Cunneotubby creeks.
		Wilburton began drawing its water from Lloyd Church Lake after the 160-acre reservoir was built approximately three miles south of town in 1964, Baldwin related.
		The back-up water supply is needed to enable the Wilburton Public Works Authority to continue providing treated water to several thousand people, including Eastern Oklahoma State College, residents of Wilburton and customers of Latimer County Rural Water District No. 1.
