Wild Wild West isn't just a bad adaptation of a TV series; it's a bad film.

deseretnews.com | Wild & Woolly — The Festival of the American West kicks off Wednesday
The featured highlight of this year's festival will be a Wild West Show, similar to the one Buffalo Bill Cody put together a hundred years ago or so, complete with Annie Oakley and Frank Butler (or at least people who play them), fancy roping, equestrian tricks and riding, Western dancing and more.
Wild West shows were the forerunners of the Western movies, said Jim Dunham, an accomplished re-enactor for more than four decades, who will be emceeing the show.
Another myth of the cowboy West, he said, is that it was a violent time.

Still, the development of China's west faces hurdles such as a less developed infrastructure, education and quality of life, said Dan Niles, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Shanghai.
Those incentives are part of China's "go west" policy, which offers preferential taxes and infrastructure assistance to lure foreign firms to the nation's less developed hinterland.
The "go west" policy has been particularly successful in developing the automotive industry in the city of Chongqing, formerly part of Sichuan and now its own autonomous municipality.
