Wildflower - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A wildflower (or wild flower) is a flower that grows wild, meaning it was not intentionally seeded or planted.
The term "wildflower" has been made vague by commercial seedsmen who are interested in selling more flowers or seeds more expensively than when labeled with only its name and/or origin.
The term implies that the plant probably is neither a hybrid nor a selected cultivar that is in any way different from the way it appears in the wild as a native plant, even if it is growing where it would not naturally.

Wildflowers can include some naturalized plants that are not invasive or aggressive to the natural order of plants.
Some wildflowers should not be planted in new areas because of the aggressive growth which can take over native species and wipe them out.

Wildflower moves Sheryl Crow one step closer to Hall of Fame status as she shunts the established rock star's impulse to get all experimental, but instead sprawls, rambling rose-like, across the substance-spiked pop landscape she helped pioneer.
Wildflower lacks any instant hit, but every song is relevant, though some will find the album a bit bland, mainly because of its perfectly handled production free of any daring sound.

Wildflower is a made-for-television film dating from 1991 and directed by Diane Keaton.

I guess Artisan must have thought it was dealing with a film from its lesser Republic holdings since it delivers the sort of bare-bones treatment it usually reserves for them.

After a forest fire, flood, overgrazing, drought, or other cause for the established vegetation being removed; the seeds of annual species (some perhaps having lain dormant for years) are ready to sprout and bloom and make seeds which will drop and wait for the next opportunity to grow.
If you already have an established wildflower meadow, the simplest way to add annuals each spring is to create a border strip.
