Scott recently paid $1.2 million for a quarter-acre lot with two houses at 789 Mulberry Point Road in the heart of the small beach community, according to a deed filed with the town clerk.
Scott purchased the house from Richard and Patricia Friese, whose address is listed as Palm City, Fla., according to the deed.
Scott’s Guilford property has historic ties, including an early settler with an interest in weather and a fish oil-processing company that operated in the mid-1800s.
