Cardinal Baum joined Bishop John J. Nevins and about 70 religious from the diocese in celebrating consecrated life and the 50th anniversary of religious life for four nuns.
Cardinal Baum retired after turning 75 in November from the head of the Apostolic Penitentiary, the Vatican office that deals with matters of conscience.
