  William John Patterson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
William John Patterson ( May 13, 1886 - June 10, 1976) was a Liberal Premier of Saskatchewan, Canada.
Patterson's Liberals were reduced to five seats in the Legislature.
Patterson served as lieutenant-governor of the province from 1951 to 1958, becoming the first person to have been both Premier and lieutenant-governor of the province.

 Family roots of Daniel Michael Patterson
On Oct. 6 and 7, 1763 John Burnet and wife Mary of Rowan County, sold 250 acres of land in Mecklenburg County on Coldwater Creek adjacent to Earl Granville's line to John Patterson.
John died Oct. 16, 1788, and is thought to be buried in Barberick Cemetery, Concord, NC.
John A. Patterson is buried in same cemetery as Alexander Patterson, Sr.

 Robert Patterson, son of John and Margaret Black Patterson
The 1810 Buncombe Co NC census is the only definite proof of his existence in that the 1800 census for John and Margaret Patterson leave off one of the three sons that were born to them by 1800, for some reason.
After having one child in GA in 1836, and 4 sons in AL by 1845, Robert and Ann Patterson were in Rusk Co., Tx by 1853, as was Amos Patterson, another son of John and Margaret.
Johnson was the brother of Ann Johnson Patterson, and therefore a brother-in-law of Robert Patterson.

James PATTERSON and Charlotte RACE were living in New Brunswick as early as 1824, as they appear in records for the birth of their first known child, Edward William in that year.
Phoebe was the daughter of Henry STAPLES and Jane TRIPP, and was born in 1838 in New Brunswick.
Group 3: John PATTERSON was the husband of Eliza COCHRANE, who, with her and John's four children and John's father James, remained in either New Brunswick or England, and arrived in Melbourne two years later aboard the Morning Light.

William Patterson's will included the following reference to his origin: "My family were of the Episcopal Church, the established Religion of Ireland, in which I was born and brought up with care and attention.
By 1808, John and Mary were the parents of ten children: Mary, the twins Gallio and Matilda, Anna, twins John Jr.

The SK Patterson was Amos's nephew Silas Kimsey Patterson, son of George Patterson.

John Walker left Northern Ireland around the age of forty in 1819, with his wife, Ann, and four small children.
They arrived in Saint John where he petitioned for 200 acres of land on Shepody road but upon examining the land found it so poor that he did not think it possible to make a living on it and consequently abandoned it.
Family history (Cunningham granddaughter of John Walker) reveals that the family was all to be grateful to an Indian squaw who with her papoose, were given shelter for the winter by an ancestor of Rachel Patterson named Walker.
