BEST, WILLIAM THOMAS (1826-1897), English organist, the son of a solicitor, was born at Carlisle on the 13th of August 1826.
Best died at Liverpool on the loth of May 1897.
Best, unlike many soloists, was an all-round musician, and fully acquainted with every branch of the art.

 William Thomas Beckford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
William Thomas Beckford (October 1, 1760 – May 2, 1844) was an English novelist, art critic, travel writer and politician.
Beckford was primarily homosexual, and at the age of 19 notoriously had an affair with the Hon William Courtenay, later 3rd Viscount and 9th Earl of Devon, then ten years old.
The opportunity of purchasing the complete library of Edward Gibbon gave Beckford the basis of his own library, and James Wyatt built Fonthill Abbey, in which this and the owner's art collection would be housed; it was completed in 1807.

Orphanage records imply that Anna was indentured to the Best family in 1894, at the age of 14.
Based solely on her appearance, I'd assumed that the pictures of Anna with Thomas were the earliest images of her in the album.
But it seems likely that Thomas is the John T. Best born, according to census records, in November of 1899, which would make Anna 21 or 22 here.

Born February 15, 1923, Tom Rowe was the son of the late John Isaac Rowe and Harriett Barker Rowe of Catonsville, Md. He was the loving husband of the late Mary Ann Kerr Rowe, who died in January 2004.
Rowe was the devoted grandfather, known as “Oley,” of Elaine Herrmann Blais and her husband, Mark Blais; Jamie Herrmann; Thomas Davin- Rowe Grout; Celia Leigh Wilson; Sarah Anderson; Ryan Hamilton Lumpkins; Robert “Lance” Lumpkins; and the “adopted” grandfather of Conor Loughran and Shaun Loughran.
