Young had no history of health problems, he experienced a moment of complete surprise during a routine physical examination upon learning that he had a heart problem.
Young’s aortic valve had been stretched open from an aortic aneurysm and that it was allowing blood to leak backwards into the heart chambers.
Young does in fact have more energy now because his heart and new valve are functioning normally, effectively pumping blood throughout his body.
