Williamson County was marked by political divisions during the secession crisis, divisions that were carried over into the Civil War and Reconstruction.

According to the Handbook of Texas, Mozo may be a corruption of surname Mazoch, proprietors of a gin in the community around 1909.
The railroad had built loading docks for the gin and several businesses existed at one time or another, but the town never developed beyond the gin and related structures.
There is no cemetery, although the name does appear on detailed county maps.

Round Rock is on Interstate Highway 35 in south central Williamson County, sixteen miles north of downtown Austin.
In 1876, when the International-Great Northern Railroad was built through Williamson County, its tracks were laid a short distance south and east of Round Rock.
The community began to move toward the railroad and the south bank of Brushy Creek, building at first a tent city that was referred to for a time as "new" Round Rock.

The municipality of Milam was officially named by the Texas Consultation of 1835 to replace the municipality of Viesca, which is assumed to have had identical boundaries with the Sterling C. Robertson colony.
Milam County is in east central Texas 150-miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico and is bordered by Robertson, Burleson, Lee, Williamson, Bell, and Falls counties.

You find out that, in Texas, there is no law requiring any of that, so there is no training, no calibration, no certification, and no maintenance (both equipment and officer allowed to be broken) by law.
Here is the rub - the municipal court doesn't have a procedure for appeal to county court, and if they had, then they wouldn't tell you.
This is procedure in Williamson County, to insure that the accused is allowed a fair trial.
