Guillermo Jaime Jorrin (born November 21, 1969), better known as Willie Jorrin, is a boxer from Sacramento, California.
Jorrin debuted as a professional boxer on February 12, 1993, with a first round knockout victory over Esau Diegues.
Jorrin started a quest to try to recover his world title almost immediately, and on April 25, 2003, he beat John Hoffman by a knockout in two rounds at Rosemont, Illinois.

Losing a disputed unanimous hometown decision to Jorrin in January of 2001, the hungry Larios finally came back to the Lion's den and made quick work of the defending WBC champ after being put on hold for almost 2 years.
Bouncing off the ropes, Jorrin leaped in with another straight right and was clocked under the chin with a riveting right uppercut that sent the champion sailing into the air before he crash-landed sideways on the deck.
In a haze, Jorrin had the expression of a tilted dizzy drunk with a large smile creasing his puzzled face as he managed to somehow gather himself into a knelling position.

Jorrin connected on only two of 12 punches, a glancing right off Larios' head early in the opening seconds and a meaningless futile defensive shot as Larios stalked him to end it.
Jorrin, who will be 33 later this month, said he will have to assess his future and probably would move up to fight as a featherweight.

Jorrin, of the United States, had looked set for an easy victory when he knocked his opponent down twice in the third round but Sato fought back and held his own in the latter stages of the 12-round bout in Tokyo.
Jorrin first knocked the challenger down with with a right-left combination and then seconds before the bell landed a right that sent Sato down a second time.
Jorrin was defending his title for the second time, the first being a unanimous decision over then number one contender Oscar Larios over a year ago.

Seemingly outboxed and outpunched for the better part of 12 rounds, WBC super bantamweight champion Willie Jorrin held on to his belt with a narrow and questionable unanimous decision over Oscar Larios on Friday at Arco Arena.
Jorrin (28-0) remained unbeaten but was clearly in trouble of dropping his first title defense after scoring a majority decision over Michael Brodie to claim the vacant title in September.
Jorrin did appear to get the better of the action in the 11th and 12th round but both fighters raised their arms at the final bell and Larios seemed to have secured the upset by holding off Jorrin's late attacks.

In June of 2000 he was matched with former WBC featherweight king Cesar Soto in a final eliminator for Willie Jorrin's WBC 122lb crown.
At the beginning of 2001 Larios travelled to Jorrin's hometown of Sacramento for his title shot and was the victim of what many felt was a hometown decision with all three judges voting for the reigning champion.

After many close hometown decision that Jorrin had received, Jorrin did not last long enough in a rematch with Oscar Larios to get the judge's help.
Jorrin wasn't a respected titlte holder while he was champion, so one can't imagine his getting any respect now that his true colors were finally shown.
Jorrin needs to go out and stay active and actually really win some fights from top contenders, then maybe he would deserve another title shot.

Vasquez---Well I hear that the title will be taken away from Jorrin, since he is hiding so much and doesn't fight, then yeah I think I will be fighting in a remacth for the title against Larios.
