Black Belt Systems WinImages is a bitmap graphics editor and special effects applicator that supports both automation of editing tasks and animation of effects.
WinImages is a MDI application which runs under Windows 95 and later versions of Microsoft Windows.
As of December 2004, WinImages is at version 7.5.

Using WinImages "Remove Feature" filter, this was eliminated (you can see the removal even better in the larger image on the 2265 page.
I used Sample to show WinImages what color the panel was (yellowish) and then used the Balance operations' "Balance to Grey" option to change the entire image's color balance to match the lighting that would have been present if the panel had shown up silver (grey), as it should have.
I used WinImages' "Caricature" operation to remove the fisheye distortion completely, as Caricature is a reverse fisheye lens.

After reading this section and playing around with WinImages: F/x a few minutes I realized that my previous complaints about not being able to see the familiar marching ants that denote a section area were unfounded.
Since this documentation is in hypertext format it is very easy to click on a hot spot and obtained detailed information about anything that looks interesting.
WinImages: F/x ships with several shapes and the user can easily create any shape desired using existing tools and then save it.

The interface is not very intuitive - nor are all functions obvious - but that is WinImages' only drawback - in fact it is more suited in creating backgrounds for PowerPoint templates than other mainstream image editors.

The image at left is of the synthesizer/modulator portion of my FM stereo station, found at 102.7 Mhz in the FM broadcast band.
The picture was taken with my Casio QV-100 digital camera, then cropped and reduced using WinImages, an image manipulation package my company makes.
When I think of the Campbell's soup cans that my old AM station was built in, I have to laugh a bit...
