The Gosiewski family was a “middle” szlachta family, originated from a Knight of the clan Korwin, Lord of Gosiewo, (or Gosie, or Gosie Lesnica), near Zambrow.

Wincenty Kadłubek, also known as Vincent Kadlubek, Vincent Kadlubo, Vincent Kadlubko, Vincent of Cracow.
Wincenty Witos (1874 - 1945) was leader of the Polish Peasant Party and periodically premier of Poland during the early 1920s.
In 1926, his government was overthrown by an armed coup d'etat led by Jozef Pilsudski.
