		Before the new Model 70 was introduced to the public, Winchester took some of this criticism to heart and substituted the aluminum trigger guard and magazine floor plate assembly from the previous Model 70 Featherweight.

		I saw mine in the store, looked at several Browning medallions, and couldn't put the Model 70 down...finally I said, "Mount a leupold Gold Ring vari-x III on it, and I'll take it home...
		There was some discussion of a slight headspace problem with some of these model 70's but I'm not too concerned about that.
		Winchester will fix it to factory specs I'm sure.
