Windshare and Toronto Hydro expect the wind turbine to begin producing energy in October 2002 providing clean, renewable electricity for homes and businesses in Toronto.
Windshare members members receive an annual financial dividend proportional to the number of shares of the turbine they own and their share in the sale of the electricity generated by the turbine.
Windshare members will elect a Board of Directors and participate in the management of the wind turbine on a one member, one vote basis regardless of the number of shares they purchase.

I live next to a wind farm and I always see the gulls flying around the blades but have never seen a dead one.
I know that with Bertrams Law you can only get so much power from the wind- so the next turbine has to be spaced a certain distance away.
