		This partial place setting of Windows on the World china survived the collapse of the building because it had been removed to the restaurant owner's home for a private function.
		Context: The World Trade Center had a spectacular restaurant, Windows on the World, located on the 107th floor of the north tower with a conference facility on the 106th floor.
		Windows on the World was known for its elegant appointments and sweeping panoramic view of New York City.

		We found that the best way to get the old paint off of the windows and frames was get as much paint off with a heat gun and then use chemical stripper to get the bottom layers then finally mineral spirits, a wire brush and a dental pick to get out the remaining patches.
		We realized after we had putty a few of the windows that the lighter colored putty that we used was not going to stain that well, even though it said it was "stainable" We ended up going back and re-doing the putty in mahogany color with Elmer's putty.
		Due to having to cover up a lot of putty we had to make the windows a little darker then I would have liked, but I think it should work well.
