The popular mare made it fourth time lucky at the Royal meeting in the Windsor Forest Stakes, taking her earnings past the #1million mark, and she will now step back up to Group One company at Newmarket on July 12.
She inflicted the first defeat on Attraction when lifting the Falmouth in 2004 and then beat the talented Irish mare Alexander Goldrun last year for two of her five wins at the highest level.
After the Falmouth the next port of call will probably be the Cantor Spreadfair Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on August 2 in which she was second last summer.

Although she disappointed in her final start last year in the Sun Chariot, finishing 5th behind Echoes In Eternity, it was the end of a long season for her.

I note with interest that her next big race entry is for the Sussex stakes, six weeks to the day after her win here.
TAHREEB (40) showed why the Heron stakes at Kempton showed deserves to be upgraded to a Group race when winning another fast renewal of the contest that has produced so many top class runners in recent years.

The new race, restricted to older fillies and mares, is part of an industry-wide initiative to create more incentives for connections to keep their fillies in training after their classic year.
Its inception follows the success of such races as the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, a fairly recent addition to America's greatest raceday and proof that there is a healthy market for fillies only races at the highest level.

Royal Ascot’s final day, June 24, features the Group 2 Hardwicke Stakes, which hasn’t been a good race for favourites in recent years while the same is true of the Wokingham Stakes, where speed, a good handicap mark and the ability to handle a big field are all essential components for the eventual winner.

Mick Kinane notched up his 32nd winner at Royal Ascot when Peeress was a surprise 14-1 winner of the Windsor Forest Stakes.
Sundrop, the 15-8 favourite, made most of the running and went for home with three furlongs to run, but she began to flag inside the final furlong and was collared by Peeress, who had been prominent throughout.
She was also reversing Epsom form with Sundrop, who defeated her by two lengths in the Princess Elizabeth Stakes on Derby day.

It won't be easy but, at her best, she is right out of the top drawer and whatever beats her will know it has had a race.
As in the past, Soviet Song appeared to need her first run of the season when fourth in the Lockinge at Newbury but will be a short-priced favourite to beat what appears to be sub-standard opposition.
It is still difficult to erase the memory of her unlucky defeat in last season's Sussex Stakes and I would love to see her win here before gaining a rightful victory in that race at Goodwood.

She won a slightly substandard Lockinge Stakes at Newbury two starts ago and although did suffer interference in an unsatisfactory Queen Anne at Ascot last time, she would not have won anyway.
She filled third spot in the 1000 Guineas but was put in her place by Nannina at Ascot last time and the chances are that she will find Soviet Song and Nannina too strong here but she may be able to take third again as she lacks nothing in courage.
However, an excellent effort though that was, she is not guaranteed to repeat it and even if she does it leaves her with something to find.
