If the Soo Greyhounds beat the Windsor Spitfires tonight to win their quarter-final playoff series, the London Knights and Kitchener Rangers will open an OHL Western Conference semifinal tomorrow night at the John Labatt Centre.
But should the Spitfires beat the Greyhounds in their Game 7 showdown, setting up a London-Windsor semifinal, it's anybody's guess when that series would start.
The Spitfires threw a wrench into the scenario by coming back to win three straight games against the Greyhounds after falling behind 3-0 in that series.

Now, one would expect any city to behave, when you are showcased on a national network, however, there is a “movement or ripple in the force”, and from my viewpoint it is a petty one, and doesn’t need to be mentioned or be part of Hockey Day in Canada.

One win isn't going to undo the much-publicized disaster that marked the first month of the Spitfires' season but getting a win against the Knights has, at least, given the players something to smile about.
The Knights, however, haven't had to fight back much this year and found themselves in an unfamiliar position when Windsor's Ryan Garlock opened the scoring with 15 seconds left in the first period.
It was the first time London had trailed in seven games since falling behind in the first period of its Oct. 7 tilt against Barrie.
