Windsor and Eton Central is the terminus of a frequent shuttle to Slough station, which gives interchange to frequent local trains on the London Paddington to Reading line and to the few fast trains which stop at Slough.
Windsor and Eton Riverside is the terminus of a line from London Waterloo station, with through electric trains running every half hour and taking about 50 minutes.
Windsor and Eton are twin towns, in Berkshire, in the south of England, separated by the River Thames and joined together by Windsor Bridge.

A footbridge across the Thames connects Windsor with Eton and its famous school, and downstream is the meadow at Runnymede where King John signed the Magna Carta in 1215.

 The Thames Path - Windsor to Bourne End
Windsor & Eton Riverside station is at the bottom of the high street, near the river and has trains every 30 minutes from London Waterloo, via Richmond, Twickenham and Staines, taking around 50 minutes, operated by South West Trains.
Windsor & Eton Central station is right opposite the castle (around 5 minutes walk to the river), but trains seem to be it's secondary purpose today - the single platform is right at the back of the building.
This walk heads away from Windsor and it's dominating Castle out to open fields alongside the Thames and Windsor Racecourse.

Stations beyond Upminster appear on maps until 1941, but there is no other evidence that the excursion trains lasted that long, and the intent may have been simply to show LTSR connections.
