The governmental Windsor uniform is a fl and gold (Clothing of distinctive design worn by members of a particular group as a means of identification) uniform worn on ceremonial occasions mostly by British colonial officials.
The uniform was created by King (King of Great Britain and Ireland from 1760 to 1820; the American colonies were lost during his reign; he became insane in 1811 and his son (later George IV) acted as regent until 1820 (1738-1820)) George III in 1777 for members of his royal court.
The uniform was worn mainly by (The head of a state government) governors and other colonial officials within the (Formerly the United Kingdom and all the territories under its control; reached its greatest extent at the end of World War I) British Empire.

The uniform worn here was the customary ceremonial dress for Commonwealth Governors General until recently.
Today the title Governor-General is used in countries which recognise Queen Elizabeth II as the titular head of state, or sovereign, excluding the United Kingdom.
In South Africa, the Governors-General of the Union by the AfrikanerNationalist government chose not to wear the uniform.

 Baden-Powell, Chief Scout of the World
The Canadian War Museum provides insight into Baden-Powell's choice of the Stetson Hat as part of the original Scout uniform.
On July 4th, 1911, 30,00 Scouts assembled in Windsor Great Park for a rally and a review by King George V.
Baden-Powell referred to this event as "was one of the most thrilling moments of my life." B-P describes the scene in his book Adventures and Accidents, 1915.
