WOLA staff interact daily with various congressional offices, the State Department and many non- governmental, international and religious organizations.
WOLA seeks to influence policy in many ways: briefing congressional aides, writing reports and issue briefs, organizing press conferences and seminars, addressing academic audiences and writing op-ed pieces for periodicals.
WOLA’s internship program works to give interns a wide range of exposure to the foreign policy making process and aims to familiarize its interns with current events in Latin America through regular meetings with our policy-making associates, attending NGO coalition meetings, brown bag lunches and congressional hearings throughout the semester.

It was here that Chopin spent his early childhood together with his French father, Nicolas Chopin, the private teacher and trainer of Countess's Skarbek children, and his mother, Tekla Justyna Krzyzanowska, a poor relative of the Countess.
The idea to create a Chopin museum in Zelazowa Wola first occurred to one of the subsequent owners of the property, Adam Towianski, Andrzej Towianski's son, who wanted to commemorate the composer's birthplace in the left outhouse.
Visitors are also invited to open-air concerts by students of music schools, held every Saturday in July and August at 11am, irrespective of the weather conditions.
