Last month, Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Inc. sent a letter to its licensee, Newport Beach, Calif.-based BrandSource Inc., demanding it ask retailers to remove the 10-oz., artificially-sweetened coffee drinks from shelves so that product defects could be reviewed.
The letter from Puck Worldwide requesting the recall indicated that the company had become aware of what it termed “government scrutiny” of the lattes, among other issues.

Puck's reorganization prompted an ownership change at downtown Denver's Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and is leading to expansion of Wolfgang Puck Express restaurants in Colorado.
Mosteller opened his first Wolfgang Puck Express on Concourse B at Denver International Airport in the late 1990s, through Skyport Companies Inc. Skyport operates a dozen restaurants at the Denver airport, including two Pour La France cafes.
