Here recently the series has had a limited release in the UK, but is still not available in a DVD format that ALL fans can take advantage of.
Wonder Woman is a popular television series which starred Lynda Carter as the comic book superhero Wonder Woman.
This is the third attempt at bringing Wonder Woman to the small screen.

Wonder Woman's first appearance on TV screens in live-action form was via a television movie made in 1974 for the ABC Network, starring athlete-turned-actress Cathy Lee Crosby as a blonde non-superpowered Amazon, pitted against a debonair villain played by Ricardo Montalban.
Wonder Woman herself was occasionally defeated by the Nazis, but she always came back in the second half of the show to save the day.
The first season of the TV series was released on DVD in North America during the summer of 2004, with release of the second season on March 1, 2005; the third and final set followed on June 7 2005.

Wonder Woman was created by William Moulton Marston, pen name Charles Moulton, a consultant for Detective Comics (now DC Comics) in 1940.
After Wonder Woman's debut in 1941, she was featured in Sensation Comics #1 (January 1942), and six months later in the summer of 1942, the first issue of her own comic, "Wonder Woman." Marston wrote all of Wonder Woman's appearances, until he died in 1947.
When she was first created, she was the archetype of the perfect woman, beautiful, intelligent, strong, but still had a soft side, her powers coming from "Amazon concentration." He magic lasso was forged from the Magic Girdle of Aphrodite, which Wonder Woman's mother (Queen Hippolyta) was given by the goddess.
