	Woo Hoo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		"Woo Hoo" is a popular song written by George Donald McGraw, originally released by The Rock-A-Teens in 1959 (see 1959 in music).
		It was later covered by English rock band The Revillos (under the name Yeah Yeah) and by the Japanese girl band The 5.6.7.8's on their 1996 album Bomb the Twist.
		Chevrolet adopted "Woo Hoo" for its advertising of the new Chevy Cobalt, in a commercial that was broadcast in the United States in late 2004, concurrent with the Vonage campaign.

		Garrett seems to think that Vonage's "woo hoo" TV commercial advertising is on the decline.
		I still have seen the Vonage "woo hoo" TV commercials, but I did notice that they seem to be on TV less often.
		Maybe Vonage's exuberant "woo hoo!" was dampered to a sullen "boo hoo" after the failed Vonage IPO, which resulted in less marketing cash available.

		Anti-woohoo Efforts Update: We have heard, but not confirmed, that the band director has directed the band NOT to participate in the "woo hoo".
		If you notice after a touchdown, the band plays quietly (or not at all) for the Point After Attempt and usually picks up right after the "woo hoo" would have been chanted.
