		Woodbine Racetrack is in Etobicoke, Ontario, and not anywhere close to Woodbine Avenue.

		Last year, Rep. Israel secured a $450,000 appropriation to enable the Army Corps of Engineers to complete a study to fix the road—the first step in the process to fix Woodbine Avenue, the major access road to the village downtown area.
		Woodbine Avenue is also the most used means of access for fire and other emergency services to the village.

		This central strip, along Lancaster Avenue, places the churches in a central location within the community, making it a true spiritual center, serving the various needs of a diverse community which attracted a wide variety of inhabitants.
		In 1918 the land that was vacant in on the corner of 63rd and Overbrook was converted into the Drexel apartments, and later into a dorm for St. Joseph’s University students.

		Due to construction of I-75, Colerain Avenue was severed in a number of places.
		Mitchell Avenue was rerouted to the west, leaving the old alignment as a frontage road.
		The strange center median here with telephone poles suggests that trolley poles were also in the middle of the street with short mast arms to support the overhead wire.
