	Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown: Winter Fellowship
		In 1968, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown was founded by a group of artists, writers, and patrons including Fritz Bultman, Alan Dugan, Stanley Kunitz, Phil Malicoat, Robert Motherwell, Myron Stout, Jack Tworkov and Hudson D. Walker.
		They believed that the freedom to pursue creative work within a community of peers was the best catalyst for artistic growth, and the Work Center has dedicated itself to this goal for almost thirty years.
		Eligibility: Fine Arts Work Center Fellowships are open to writers and visual artists in the emerging stages of their careers.

	Middletown North_Fine Arts
		The first two years of Fine Arts provide the student with a strong foundation in the design, production, history, and appreciation of traditional and contemporary visual arts.
		Students meeting the prerequisites of a minimum of two years in either fine arts or crafts must submit a portfolio of 15 - 20 original works of art, have their art teacher's recommendation, and take part in an interview if they wish to be considered for this program.

		In today’s art world, where the line is often blurred between two-dimensional practice and other fields, it is common to see artists who are nominally painters creating installations and/or using a wide array of materials.
		The Fine Arts Work Center was founded in 1968 by concerned artists, writers and patrons, including Stanley Kunitz, Alan Dugan, Robert Motherwell and Hudson Walker.
		Students work in an intensive fashion with a pre-approved mentor for the two second-year non-residency periods creating a body of focused work—a portion of which is included in the Thesis Exhibition.
