Workers Cause Party (in Portuguese: Partido da Causa Operária, PCO) is a political party in Brazil.
In 1980, this organization united itself with the Worker's Party (PT), becoming very participative on that decade's municipal and state elections, having several mayors and state representatives chosen.
In 1990 and 1991, however, several TTB members were expelled from the PT due to their non-commitment to the Party's statutes.

These gentry were guided in their evaluation of the achievements of the workers and collective farmers not by the interests of the people, who applauded every such achievement, but by the interests of their own wretched and putrid faction, which had lost all contact with the realities of life.
The Party saw that the hollow speeches of these gentry were in reality meant for their supporters outside the congress, to serve as a lesson to them in duplicity, and a call to them not to lay down their arms.
The main lesson which the Party organizations had to draw from the trials of the persons implicated in the foul murder of S. Kirov was that they must put an end to their own political blindness and political heedlessness, and must increase their vigilance and the vigilance of all Party members....

 COINTELPRO -- Socialist Workers Party
The leaflet is designed to cause disruption in the peace movement, primarily in the New Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, and to minimize the growing influence of the SWP in the movement.
Party emphasis in this regard at this time amounts to the placing of one comrade in each committee in the event something of interest to the Party occurs in regard to any one of these committees.
It is further noted that a Party leader recently stated that the SWP must, under all circumstances, not "antagonize" any elements in the anti-war movement inasmuch as the Party "has always been accused of splitting", which accusation greatly upsets the Party.
