Appropriate use of working titles can further goals to recognize academic staff professional contributions, to foster integration of academic staff into university life and departmental governance, and to communicate to the outside world a better understanding of the capabilities and responsibilities of individual academic staff members (important in research grant proposal competitions, for example).
When additional working titles are approved for either research or instructional academic staff, having these established guidelines will encourage their uniform implementation.
This is crucial since a principal goal of working titles is to better communicate to the outside world the research and scholarly talents of individual members of UW's research and instructional academic staff.

I've had to leave out the various Agility titles simply because I don't know what is available; there are 3 or 4 different sponsoring organizations for Agility and each one offers several different titles.
Normally all performance titles go after the dog's name except that working champion titles, those with "Ch" in the title, go in front of the dog's name.
dogs who actually work on a stock ranch are evaluated at work on the ranch by an accredited judge; the work must be considered to be substantial and useful to the stock opperation; one certification earns the title.

German conformation dogs are required to earn working titles as proof of their intelligence and trainability, but it must be remembered that only a PASSING score is required to earn the title.
People who compete in WORKING events seek to train their dogs to perform as close to perfection as possible, and seek perfect scores in all phases of the working events (in Schutzhund the perfect score is 300, 100 points each for tracking, obedience, and protection.)
Working scores also are evaluated similarly to the conformation titles, V is the highest and the dogs are placed on down in order of the scores they receive.
