I've spent a fair bit of time watching the World Cup on CBC and a few games on ESPN but in all of the times the announcers, commentators and analysts have mentioned that the USA beat Canada in the 1996 World Cup final there's one thing I don't recall them ever mentioning.
Thanks to an anonymous reader in my referral logs who found my site through a Yahoo query for "why os the world cup hockey one game instead of 3" for reminding me that things used to be different.
In other World Cup news it looks like Martin Brodeur is good to go.
