Madrid Women’s World Open Squash Championship, Jardines del Cabo Noval, Palacio Real, Madrid, Spain Semifinal results were 3rd seeded Rachael Grinham of Australia, the recent British Open Champion, defeated 5th seeded Natalie Grainger by a score of 5-9, 9-6, 9-6, 9-3 in a 45 minute match.
The World Open finals will be the 16th time the Australians Rachael Grinham and Natalie Grinham will meet on the WISPA World Tour, but their first time in a major Tour final.
World #5 Natalie Grainger defeated #10 seed New Zealander Shelly Kitchen by a score 9-2, 9-1, 9-0 in the Quarterfinals of the Women’s World Championship in Madrid, Spain.

Rodney was selected as a member of the National team, which competed in the World Team Championships in Cairo, Egypt in November 1999.

The biggest squash championship ever to be held in Northern Ireland will take place in Belfast next month.
Boasting a record £61,000 prize fund, the 2006 Women's World Open will get underway at the Belfast Boat Club on Monday 20 November before moving to the city's historic Ulster Hall from the second round onwards, leading to the final on Sunday 26 November.
The championship will be hosted by Irish Squash, in conjunction with Ulster Squash and its partners the Belfast City Council, Sports Council for Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Events Company – and follows an agreement reached between Irish Squash and the World Squash Federation (WSF).
