		"World in Motion" is, as of 2005, New Order 's only single to reach number 1 in the UK Top 40.
		The song was released under the name ENGLANDneworder, and was produced for the England football team 's 1990 World Cup campaign.
		The single was re-released for the 2002 World Cup, this time with the track "Such a Good Thing" replacing "The B-Side".

		Jackson Browne's 1989 album "World In Motion" does have some excellent tracks on it, though it's highly flawed--based on the other reviews so far, this record appears to have a strong cult following, but it's clearly not an overall masterpiece, & that's coming from myself, a huge Jackson fan.
		It seems that Jackson was perhaps having a bit of a case of writer's block with this album, which leads to what I think is the album's key problem--lack of strong song material.
		Production-wise I think the album is overall pretty good & tasteful, & I certainly don't question Jackson's sincerity, but, to put it simply, he had trouble here on numerous tracks getting messages across as effectively as we're used to from him.

		As for republic, it's my least favorate album, i can't expain why, but it dosent sound like "new order", almost as if they were just pushing out the album to fill the contract with london, it didnt seem like alot of the group's feel and soul went into the majority of the songs on Republic.

		The movie it comes from might be weak, but the CD represents a terrific sampler of early technodance songs from the likes of Thompson Twins, Mindless, The Future Sound of London and, of course, the acknowledged master of techno, Moby; a couple of his earliest hits can be found here.
		My fave track, though, and the reason I bought the album in the first place, is "Sex on Wheelz," a fun, rowdy, nasty song that plays hard from beginning to end.

		The haunting "Theme from Ghost World," composed by David Kitay, finishes off this disc, perfectly capturing all the bittersweet moods found in the film.
		As far as a CD goes, it is excellent right down to the "Ghost World Theme Song, but for a movie sound track they could have done better, so I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 for some songs they left out, and chose to put in instead.

		Jackson did not care whether World In Motion was going sell millions, produce a hit single, or follow in the footsteps of his previous work.
		Songs such as the title track "World in Motion", "The Word Justice" and "I am a Patriot" are classics in the sense of music and message.
		I can't image how anyone would rate this album any less.
