Worth County is a county located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Georgia.
Worth County was created from Dooly and Irwin counties on December 20, 1853, by an act of the Georgia General Assembly, becoming the Georgia's 106th county.
In the county, the population is spread out with 28.6 percent under the age of 18, 8.1 percent from 18 to 24, 27.50 percent from 25 to 44, 23.90 percent from 45 to 64, and 12 percent who are 65 years of age or older.
