The Wurlitzer uses metal "reeds" and the Rhodes "tines" (essentially little tuning forks which are a joy to tune).
I have a YAMAHA Motif Classic and I like the Rhodes and Wurli that is on it but I also tweeked them to my taste.
I'm no electronic genius so I'll leave it to someone else to delve into the differences in their electronics, but they are both unique and both quite useful in their own ways.
