We also have a wiki (xWiki based) hosted by Ludo (the old Confluence based wiki, hosted by Vincent should not be used as I have understood.
But the most interesteing feature of xWiki is its scripting support: xWiki is a development platform: in a wiki page you can define objects, that get stored in the database (all automatic), then write forms, in velocity or Groovy.
Ludo's xWiki is integrated as a portlet in Exo's Community menu but not on the mobile version of the Portal.

XWiki on the other hand requires you to import a database to get started and then kind of drops you into the ocean.
XWiki also seems to be more integrated with the "Java-sphere": it can use Groovy (If you are a Perl/Python/Ruby-type person and ever felt like doing Java, but it seemed to hard or annoying, try Groovy!) and Velocity, does XML/RPC, uses Hibernate to store its data etc.
XWiki should bribe Dave Shea to come up with a better default theme and matching templates.

As I mentioned a couple postings back, I am playing around with XWiki as the platform for an unofficial ILI2005 wiki (it also has blog capabilities).
XWiki has some neat features such as pulling in photos from Flickr and doing RSS aggregation.

Moreover, Xwiki is one of the few projects with the WYSIWYG editor where there is significant obstacles to make it distributed.
XWiki uses CVS for visioning its files so conflict management should be possible and provided through an interface.

We have team browsing capabilities and a Wiki is a perfect environment for browsing with a group of friends (we have been trying as to browse c2.com and new sites for instance).
It makes XWiki a GlueWiki (a glue wiki is one where the position of widgets can be changed, like they are being glued to a new place..
The Floranta server as of today has implementations in PHP and Perl, but not in Java, and it is indeed a work in progress… 2.

Charting for XWiki is a project intended to create an XWiki extension that lets users easily generate and embed professional-looking charts (pie, bar, line, area, and time) in wiki pages.
The generated charts dynamically reflect the contents of a data source (an XWiki table, for instance), which are simply instances of wiki text that use the {table} macro to delimit rows of data in which cells are separated by the pipe character ().
The XWiki Charting extension is implemented as an XWiki plug-in that renders charts through JFreeChart (http://www.jfree.org/).

 Confluence 1.2 Released: Knowledge Management Gets Practical
Congrats to atlassian for the 1.2 release of Confluence, but Jason, I believe you could try to not violate your rule by looking at open-source Wikis like XWiki or SnipSnap.
Beside this, XWiki (looks pretty good) open source license is GPL, and AFAIK if I want to use GPL licensed stuff to make money I need to pay for it too, so...
Finally, open-source is not about being free (I'm working on paying support packages for XWiki) but about opening the source.

Thanks to WikkaWiki, here is an easy way to publish mindmaps in XWiki
The macro adds the applet tag with a reference to the attached file.
It is indeed possible to generate freemind mindmap files using XWiki scripts from XWiki data but this would be slightly different.

Do you have an opinions on it for a company dashboard type of application?
Confluence would be more first choice, but xwiki is cheaper and looks quite functional.
