As you know, "Xaverian" is a corruption of the word "Xavierian" and its popularity does not change the legitimacy of the original word, unless the meaning has also changed, such as from "Bethlehem" to "Bedlam".
But, it is nonetheless true that current local usage in Xavier School overwhelmingly favors the use of "Xaverian" over "Xavierian", as in its web column of "Xaverian's Corner".
