		Xbox 360 is Microsoft's successor to their Xbox video game console, previously referred to during development as "Project Xenon", "Xbox 2" or "Xbox Next".

		Microsoft's future console -- which may be called Xbox 2, Xbox Next, Xenon, Xbox 360, The Big X, Next 'Box, X2: Electric Boogaloo, or something completely unexpected -- has been the source of endless speculation over the past year.

		A number of outlets have today been stating, via sources, that the Xbox Next will launch simultaneously in both North America and Europe by Christmas.
		I can't find the current numbers, but as of the beginning of July, Xbox Live had 1 million subscribers to it [these are people on their yearly plan, not the 2 month freebies].
		The next iteration is gonna have more interesting spectator modes, and hopefully better support for MMOGs (that may attract lots of the PC folks).

	Microsoft to Release Three Versions of Xbox 2? - Xbox
		One would be a simple Xbox 2 with no hard drive, while a second version, called Xbox Next HD will include a hard drive as the name implies and some additional functionality that takes advantage of the massive storage.
		The report also claims that Xbox Next and Xbox Next HD will ship next fall, while the Xbox Next PC will ship a year later, just in time for the release of Sony’s PlayStation 3.
		When taking into consideration that Xbox Next is supposedly using POWER processors, it appears that Microsoft is taking a completely different approach for the next generation.
