Dentin Dysplasia-Radicular is a genetic disorder characterized by atypical formation of the calcified tissue between the enamel pulp of the teeth (dentin).
The disorder is typically characterized by distinctive abnormalities of the skin, defects of the hair, clouding of the lenses of the eyes (juvenile cataracts), short stature and other skeletal abnormalities, malformations of the head and facial (craniofacial) area, and other physical abnormalities.
It is characterized by growth retardation prior to and after birth; defective growth of the bones of the skull along with complete or partial absence of the shoulder blades.
