Xindi timeline - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of key events in the Xindi history of the fictional Star Trek universe:
Enterprise is severely damaged by a Xindi attack.
Late 2500's-Xindi and humans work together on Enterprise-J to defeat the Sphere Builders at the Battle of Procyon Five; heavily implies that between the destruction of the super weapon and this point, the Xindi become members of the Federation.

Xindi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Xindi appear to be pawns in the Temporal Cold War, as they were informed at least as early as 2152 by a trans-dimensional race known as Sphere Builders from the future that they would be victims of a genocidal attack from humanity in the 26th century.
In Daniels' timeline, Xindi crewmen serve in the Federation in the 26th century.
Another criticism of the Xindi was that all five (originally six) sub-species of Xindi are supposed to have evolved from a common ancestor.

The Xindi council, in response to the information it was told, launched a premptive strike on Earth as a precursor to a genocidal second attack.

Xindi - Memory Alpha   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-22)
The Xindi are an alliance of species who evolved on the same planet in the Delphic Expanse, known as Xindus, whose infamous attack on Earth and attempts to eradicate Humans in the early 2150s changed the course of history and initiated the series of events that helped establish United Earth as a major interstellar power.
In at least one future timeline, the Xindi state will have by the 26th century become a Member of the United Federation of Planets.
The Xindi have had a long and turbulent history, characterized by interspecies conflict up until the destruction of their homeworld in the 2030s.

Xindi - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Various Xindi were involved in a war lasting about 100 years and ending in the 2030s.
With the help of the Sphere Builders, the Reptilians and Insectoids took control of the finished Xindi weapon and set on a course for Earth, thus beginning a civil war between the Xindi species.
Some Reptilians possessed time-travel technology and traveled to 2004 to collect blood samples for their bio-weapon in the future but were foiled by Jonathan Archer and T'Pol.

Xindi superweapon - Memory Alpha   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-22)
The weapons were built by the five Xindi species in cooperation, at the instigation of the Guardians, who had informed the Xindi that Humans would be responsible for the destruction of the future Xindi homeworld in the 26th century.
The weapon was designed primarily by Degra, a Xindi-Primate scientist and member of the Xindi Council, and constructed by the Aquatics.
This version had been present in the timeline for 117 years prior to the launch of the probe (it had arrived in 2037) and its crew knew of the exact date of launch.

I'd like at least an inkling of (1) where the Xindi are getting their information about humanity's supposed future attack upon them, (2) why they believe it, (3) how the Xindi have access to time travel, and (4) why they are dead-set on destroying all of us.
These are questions that go to the heart of Xindi motivation, and you'd think a story that delves back into this morass of timeline goofiness would at least *try* to tackle these questions, but "Carpenter Street" doesn't have a clue about any of it.
The Xindi are using these victims, who all have different blood types, to develop a bio-weapon, which they intend to take back to the future, I guess.

Unofficial Star Trek Fact Files Index - Xindi
A huge vessel used by the Xindi-Aquatics, probably the flagship of the Xindi fleet, it dwarfed the Enterprise which could be accommodated in its cargo bay.
One such vessel was destroyed in the battle between the renegade Reptilian faction and the Xindi that favoured peace with Earth.
The first type of Xindi vessel encountered by Enterprise was of an elegant, harp-shaped, organic design consisting of a central hull with a deflector dish at the bow.

 2153-2154
Their ongoing quest for the Xindi leads the Enterprise crew to a tropical alien world where Archer, Reed and Hoshi are exposed to a highly contagious virus that transforms their bodies and minds into those of the long extinct alien inhabitants of the planet.
Having located the prototype of the Xindi superweapon, Archer and the crew manage to capture the weapon's creator, Degra, and launch into an elaborate scheme to dupe their prisoner into revealing the location of the final weapon under construction.
In the alternate timeline, where Archer loses his long term memory, the crew of the Enterprise finally determines where the Xindi weapon is being assembled.

Star Trek Timeline - Far Future
The new Xindi homeworld, in the Delphic Expanse, is destroyed.
However, the Sphere Builders convince the Xindi that the people of Earth are responsible for the destruction of their homeworld, and not the Sphere Builders themselves.
However, the intrigue they began remains - the Xindi did ultimately kill 7,000,000 humans in 2153, and this was not stripped out of the timeline, even though the original motivation was rendered null by the defeat of the Sphere Builders.

I think they might merge the "two" timelines, assuming there are two, and so the events happening in the Ent.
I think if Enterprise is now in a timeline that was never meant to have happened it is by definition in a timeline other than the regular one.
From the moment the TCW faction interfered and told the Xindi about the supposed human threat and they acted upon it we were pushed into a different line.

The Temporal Cold War   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-22)
It is a struggle between those who would alter history to suit their own ends and those who would preserve the integrity of the original timeline.
Although the scope of the war was unprecedented, most of its casualties were unaware that they were involved in an organized conflict; hence the term "Cold War".
Timelines were changed frequently, with history being rewritten or significant events being erased.

Apparently, in Daniels' future, the Xindi are part of the Federation, all of which is at war with the sphere-builders.
Really, the whole timeline is presented as a sort of believe-it-or-not (mostly not) exercise in surrealism.

I really don't think the Xindi had anything to do with the spheres, but am more of the camp which says the Xindi are the result of genetic manipulation by the creators of the spheres.
Of course, the Xindi forman also said that their home world was extremely seismically unstable and that the cataclysm resulted from a chain reaction which was set off, so perhaps they really didn't need too much external "help" to blow their planet away.
Wait! Wait! I've got it! The Xindi home world and Kal-El's home planet Krypton, a highly advanced civilization which was lost when their planet exploded are one and the same! I mean, it all fits! Surely stopping a planet killing weapon from being used against Earth is "a job for Superman!!!" Ok, I've lost it.

Agfter their victory that had redu ed Earth to a shattered hulk, the Xindi subsequently attacked every Earth settlement they could find, destroying all the planets that the humans had controled and eventually only 6,000 Humans remained alive by 2155.
This, however, corrects the timeline - Phlox discovers that when he uses radiation treatments to kill one of the parasites in Archer's brain, said parasite also vanishes from every medical scan Phlox took - as if the parasite never existed.
Unfortunately, the ship is attacked by Xindi vessels and is destroyed; however, Phlox's device has already completed its task - even though the Enterprise is destroyed, so are the parasites (which exist outside the normal space/time realm).

In the original timeline, the Borg could never have been in the 21st and 22nd centuries and were first encounterred by the Federation in 2364.
The timeline isn't a real timeline and events that aren't written down yet doesn't mean that they didn't (or won't) happen, it just means that we haven't learned of it yet.
It could be argued that TNG changed the TOS timeline on several occasions because of times when the script would say "that event happened 100 years ago", yet when you look back at the TOS timeline you see that the event spoken of must have been 94 years ago or 106 years ago.

The Great Link : Enterprise Review, Michael Marek reviews 'Twilight' [Episode Review]
The first is the alternate timeline story itself, which presents a variation on a theme of the familiar Enterprise series.
An alternate timeline story also allows character development that does not have to be permanent, such as T’Pol all but setting up housekeeping with Archer, yet never admitting how she feels about their new relationship.
In the main Enterprise timeline, T’Pol may never choose to go down this road, but it is something we now know about her.
