		Yes Xtravision is terrible for old/foreign/alternative films but that’s not what its been about for the last few years.
		The best thing that can be said for it is that if it is the newest blockbuster you want to rent, Xtravision will have about 20 copies available so you do have a pretty good chance of getting to see it in its first week of release.
		and another thing, the staff in xtravision are only doing a job, so when you’re asked to pay a fine theres no point in huffing and puffing about it…the staff didnt run the fine up, you the customer did.

		I tried the xtravision's as past feedback in the V forum highly recommended them due to their better illumination and long life.
		Maybe you need to re-aim, very typical that different brand bulbs have their filament in a slighty different position, especially one that tries to add "extra vision" by moving the filament to a slightly different focal point.

		But I will note that I've screwed around with a lot of the bulbs that are marketed in the U.S. and the Silverstar Ultras throw a lot more light than the others I've tried.
		We put the XtraVision bulbs on my son's WRX and I frankly couldn't discern hardly any difference.

		I did a test drive with a Sylvania H6054 XtraVision lamp on the driver side, and a GE standard H6054 on the passenger side; both are brand new.
		The first thing I noticed was that both lamps were producing equal amounts of light at approximately 25 ft. Prior to the modification, the driver lamp was extremely under-lit while the passenger side was not much better.
		Unfortunately, the XtraVision lamp (apparently, it is just the sealed beam model) has less light power but a much wider beam.

		Do not confuse the XtraVision with the blue headlight bulbs.
		The blue tint of those lights appear to our eyes as brighter, however the coating on any of these bulbs actually reduces the candlepower and at least to my eyes greatly increase glare to oncoming traffic.
		The XtraVision bulbs are up to 30% brighter than a standard halogen without the blue glare.

		In the meantime, they’ve announced that they are immediately cutting all commissions paid for referrals to only 4 pounds as a result of cost-cutting at the company.
		While I don’t fully understand why Blockbuster is backing away from their UK DVD-by-mail program, when they are simultaneously expanding their internet services in the US, it may indicate how difficult rental conditions have become in the UK.
		Either way, though, putting the growth of their UK division into pause mode cannot be a positive sign for Blockbuster and will either force the company to sell these stores or watch as competitors poach customers from them.
