		the female deity Blood Moon, (Xkik' in Mayan lingo) the daughter of Blood Gatherer and mother of Hunahpu and Xbalanque, is a moon goddess who is largely responsible for the waxing moon, whereas Xumucane, Blood Moon's mother-in-law, is responsible for the waning moon.
		Xbalanque then is the personification of the full moon.
