		Xylem Tube EP was released exclusively on vinyl in June 1992.
		The EP consists of four unusual acid house songs, including the A-sides "Polynomial-C" with its arpeggios, and "Tamphex", a repetitive dance track featuring a looping sample of a tampon advertisement.

		It is also interesting to note that on both releases, the title On is only mentioned once: in the tracklist of the On EP.

		The remix EP for the Aphex Twin single On, released the same year as SAW2, features a track titled "On (28 Mix)," which in no way resembles its original mix, and is very similar to the tracks found on this album.

		I wasn't really hoping to find some more good AFX stuff, as far as I can remember, when I stumbled upon the "Hangable Auto Bulb" EP (both of them actually - there was a second one, plus "Melodies from Mars", which I discovered approximately around the same time); I was pleasantly surprised.
		A not really rare Aphex Twin track this week, having been included on the "Classics" compilation (originally coming from the "Xylem Tube" EP) Here's "Polynomial-C".
		I definitely do not agree with the common opinion that this is his best track, but it's worth listening to, nicely illustrating at least parts of his work in the first half of the nineties.
