		The administrative division of Yaeyama District covers all of the Yaeyama Islands except Ishigaki and the disputed Senkaku Islands.
		The Yonaguni language is the indigenous language of Yonaguni, and the Yaeyama language is the indigenous language of the rest of the islands.
