		Yauco is a city (ciudad) and municipality (municipio) in southwestern Puerto Rico.
		The municipality is bounded on the west by the municipalities of Sabana Grande and Guánica, on the north by Maricao, on the east by Guayanilla, and on the south, at the end of a narrow strip of territory, by the Caribbean Sea.
		Yauco is also the name of the principal town (zona urbana) of the municipality.
