Triggerfishes are brightly coloured fish of the family Balistidae.
Triggerfish have a roundish, laterally flat body with an anterior dorsal fin.

This species is the world's largest triggerfish and often vigorously defends its territory when guarding eggs in its nest (a large bowl-shaped depression in the sand).
Titans can deliver pretty nasty bites — all triggerfishes have very strong jaws that enable them to feed on hard-to-open prey items — and they can be so persistent in pursuit that divers have been forced to leave the water to avoid being attacked.
Yellowmargins grow to 60 cm and titans to 75 cm, but I've yet to see a titan that was as big as that incoming yellowmargin (even if adjusted by the 'terror factor').

Aquarium Setup: Sufflamen fraenatus (Masked triggerfish) must be given plenty of space; at least 40 gallons for a small specimen and no less than 100 gallons for an adult one.
Food: Sufflamen fraenatus (Masked triggerfish) eats a varied diet in the wild, that includes fishes, mollusks, algae, worms, crustaceans, echinoids, detritus and tunicates.

We found a healthy population of crown of thorns starfish predatory fish.
On every dive we spotted several yellowmargin triggerfish (Pseudobalistes flavimarginatus) and moustache triggerfish (Balistapus viridescens).
Yellowmargin triggerfish (Pseudobalistes flavimarginatus) and Moustache triggerfish (Balistapus viridescens) are spread throughout the entire outer fringing reef protecting their territories against other fish.

On the outside of Sughulamp Reef was a diverse array of typical small reef fish, including damselfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, wrasses, surgeonfish and triggerfish.
Of the known predators of the crown of thorns starfish (Napoleon wrasse Cheilinus undulates, the moustache triggerfish Balistoides viridescens, yellowmargin triggerfish Pseudobalistes flavimarginatus, giant triton Charonia tritonis, Harlequin shrimp Hymenocera picta, fire worm Pherecardia striata) only one moustache triggerfish and one napoleon wrasse was observed during our study.
Apparently on the Maskelyne Island reefs there is a general lack of crown of thorn starfish predators to keep the population in check.

The first dive site I dived in Sipadan and I already saw 5 types of angelfish, 6 types of triggerfish, small school of trevally, large school of barracudas, 6-7 whitetip reef sharks and got attacked by a yellowmargin triggerfish!
The dive begins with a freefall down the side of the wall (as all of other Sipadan wall dives), through a school of schooling bannerfish whilst staring at the blue abyss below.

In the shallows you can spot Lagoon Triggerfish and Dragon Wrasse.
In around 20', my wife & I once saw 2 White-tip Reef Sharks tucked under a ledge.
