Yokosuka D4Y2 was powered by a 1400 hp Aichi Atsuta 32 12-cylinder inverted Vee piston engine providing a top speed of 550 kmh and a range of 1465 km.
Yokosuka E14Y carried a crew of one or two in tandem and was armed with a 7.7 mm machine-gun on a flexible mounting in the rear cockpit.
Yokosuka MXY7 Model 11 was carried to its target by a Mitsubish G4M2 aircraft, and then released to glide in before firing its three Type 4 MK 1 solid-propellant rockets with a combined thrust of 800 kg to propel the high-explosive packed aircraft at 650 kmh into its target.

Yokosuka MXY8 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Yokosuka MXY8 Akigusa (秋草, "Autumn grass") was a training glider built in parallel with the Mitsubishi J8M rocket -powered interceptor aircraft.
The J8M was to have simply been a licence-built Messerschmitt Me 163, but due to difficulties in obtaining technical materials from Germany, it eventually had to be designed almost from scratch.
Many sources apply the designation MXY8 to the Yokosuka MXY7 Ohka kamikaze weapon.

The Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka was the forerunner of the Exocet and other anti-shipping cruise missiles of today.
Designated the MXY7 Type 11, the design required a parent aircraft to carry the craft aloft and when near the target, the pilot would disengage from the parent, point the craft towards the target and use three solid propellent rockets to accelerate towards the target at high speed, making interception all but impossible.
This design was approved by the Navy in August of 1944 and turned over to the Navy's own First Naval Air Arsenal at Yokosuka, which had produced several notable designs including the D4Y Suisei dive bomber and the E14Y GLEN submarine-launched reconnaisance floatplane, for further development.

This flying bomb packed a large warhead in the nose and employed three small rocket engines mounted in the tail to extend the range.
Kugisho engineers developed an improved trainer, the two-seat MXY7 K-2 Ohka 43B, when they substituted a second cockpit for the warhead/ballast compartment.
They gave the aircraft a landing skid, flaps, and a single jet motor of the type used in early versions of the Ohka 11.

The second version, the Ohka Model 22, was planned to be an improved version of the weapon to be carried by the faster Yokosuka P1Y1, Navy Bomber Ginga, Allied Code Name "Frances." In order to accommodate the Ohka in the bomber, the wing span was reduced and a smaller warhead was carried.
