		York and Queen’s traded blows in the final quarter as both teams needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
		Quarterback Bart Zemanek’s three touchdown passes in the second half were all the York University Lions needed to beat the Toronto Varsity Blues, 39-11, at York Stadium on Saturday.

		The Lions complied the second best record in the OUA East after the Winter break and are now 13-3 including two post season victories in the new year.

		Both York and U of T have one win and one loss, with the York Lions football squad dumping the Varsity Blues 66-7 in the TRY Cup opener at York on September 27.
		The Ryerson University Rams, the third member of the inaugural TRY Cup competition, open their schedule in badminton on October 18th at U of T. The TRY Cup schedule really gets busy in the last week of October when all three Toronto-area universities will be in action in hockey and volleyball.
