Yosemite Falls is the highest measured waterfall in North America.
Located in Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, it is a major attraction in the park, especially in late spring when the water flow is at its peak.
The upper fall is formed by the swift waters of Yosemite Creek, which, after meandering through Eagle Creek Meadow, hurl themselves over the edge of a hanging valley in a spectacular and deafening show of force.

Yes, Yosemite Falls is a feature of the valley, not a route, but here I will attempt to describe several scramble routes in addition to the standard NPS trails used to view the falls.
It is fed by Yosemite Creek, a watershed of nearly 50 square miles that lies north of the valley.
Yosemite Point is another mile beyond Yosemite Creek, but well worth the additional walk for the views (Yosemite Creek is nice for a dip and drink, but not much for views under the forest cover).

Bridalveil Falls is the first major water fall visitors see when entering Yosemite Valley, first seen we one emerges from the tunnel entrance to the west end of the valley, as it forms one side of the Gates of the Valley, then a short drive later it is observed from the floor of Yosemite Valley.
When the falls are pumping the forest around the base of the falls is dripping wet and side streams form to pull the overflow from the falls down to the Merced River a few hundred yards away.
